Moonsong is a quintessential Caribbean style cottage, tucked into the hillside above beautiful Hart Bay. This darling 2 bedroom home is perfect for honeymooners, or anyoe looking for an excellent value in a St. John rental. Providing everything you need for an island vacation, with high ceilings, tile floors, rattan furnishings and a comfortable dining deck, perfect for enjoying the twilight while enjoying your meals, this home is placed to take advantage of our gentle tradewinds, although it is also fully air-conditioned when needed. The exterior of Moonsong is delightful, with arches, gingerbread accented in bright Caribbean blues and clean, crisp white. Surrounded by decks and gallery, you can sunbath outside your door or soak in the hot tub while counting the stars in an endless indigo sky. It over looks green hills and the pristine bay, usually deserted and windswept. You can often hear the waves rolling in to the beach right from the house. The main level offers three sets of double doors opening onto two covered decks. A comfortable living space is accented by island décor, while exposed beams and arched windows and doors add to the tropical ambiance. The kitchen is clean, modern and well equipped. A bar/countertop with bar stools separates the living room and kitchen... and because it adjoins the living area, the cook can enjoy the views and socialize as they work. Both bedrooms are on separate floors, providing privacy for couples or family. The upper master bedroom features a custom made queen bed with mahogany trim, and has an ajoining bath with tastefully tiled shower. Doors open onto a private deck to enjoy the views and tradewinds. The spacious lower bedroom can be made up as a king size or two twin beds and can be accessed by an outside stairway. It also features a bath ensuite with large shower with ocean view. Tasteful accessories complete this bedroom. Amenities include hot tub, wifi, air conditioning and ocean views. You can even walk to Hart Bay via a short trail to the beach below. Enjoy the ocean view, whispering surf and cooing of a turtledove from the comfort of your bed. Let the moonlight flood into your room and an evening breeze caress your body. It is easy to understand why Moonsong has become a favorite honeymoon retreat. Moonsong can also be rented with its sister property, Sundance for larger parties.
